Aaaahhh...completely different thing! You're talking about a RAW file system, not a RAW file type/format. That's the problem with all these acronyms!
Too much confusion between RAW/RAW and format/format.
I found some reference to people having problems with the Pro Duo's because they were RAW, and once they reformatted to FAT32 they no longer had problems.
You need a computer guru, not a camera guru!
You should be able to reformat it to FAT32 (4k blocks?) with the Disk Management program in Administrative Tools in My Computer, but I'm sure someone here is more familiar with it.

Shooting in RAW is just as much of a pain using a MAC as it is with a PC. Unlike a jpeg, RAW is an unprocessed data file straight from the camera, comparable to an unprocessed negative from a film camera. It has to be processed to yield an image, so it's just as confusing on a mac!

Trailbud's problem is a Sony issue, not a pc/mac issue. Their high-speed high-capacity sticks formatted in RAW cause problems in MP3 players, cell phones, etc.

Thanks for the clarification, I would have never got it.
As far as formatting the card....
Right click "my computer"
Select "manage"
Expand the "storage" tree
Select "Disk Management"
On the right of the window you will see the drives on your computer.
Scroll trough them and find your memory stick... it will say something like...removable..etc.
Right click on the partition area - it has a colored band on top and these /////////
Select "format"
A window will pop and let you choose the format options, you should be able to select from Fat, fat32, ntfs...etc. Fat32 is the best for this situation.
Hope that helps.

If not, you might just have a corrupted card.Toad, I tried to find a funny picture to post for you, but the best I could come up with is:
