So Cal light trails ?
Hey dhoffroad,
My wife and I will be getting back in town from Moab on the 7th and will most likely have to do some catch up on work but if we can swing it, we'd love to hook up with you before you head back north

I'd be good for another local run. I haven't had a day off in 8 months.
Here's some useful links for Cleveland National Forest;

You guys must think I have some big "kahonas" I never said that was me, I was the one taking the pictures.
I guess you will still need to paint those stripes on the rocks for me after all.
In all seriousness, I had just met this guy. He was riding with the the same bunch of guys I was. He was jumping insanely far! I heard through the grapevine, a couple of months later that he was paralyzed from the neck down from doing this very thing. He was in his mid twenties. What a shame.

Dude that sucks. I know a lot of bad stories about dunes. This friend of a friend was it a sand rail, came over the lip into a bowl, and when he landed, there was a rock underneath the sand that he hit his rear tire on. The shock broke his neck and he was dead right there. My dad also died in the dunes, Coos Bay. Whoever was driving fliped the sandrail down into the bowl, landed on the top and there was 20 inches of water down there. At least he was unconcious.
Anywho, back to the run planning.
