It's gonna be a last minute thing if I can make it happen. It all just depends on what work is like that week... I'll PM you guys if I end up with the day free!

I'm going to PM Woods as soon as I'm done with this post and see what we can come up with.

I am going to do the Mojave Trail on April 20, 21, 22, and come home on the 23rd. Going to try to get motel room for Friday and hit the trail early saturday morning. So far only about 3 vehicles. Anyone who wants to tag along let me know.

DH, got your PM. I'm bringing this back to the group, so we can get feedback from others. I'm fairly new to the whole off road deal. I've seen some of Big Bear (3N16, Deep Creek), Anza Borrego, and El Mirage areas. The main divide road is in my back yard, so I've been exploring it lately. It has great views. It's 95% fire roads, with a few more challenging side roads. Nothing super extreme. Big Bear has some more challenging runs, but some of the ones that I've seen I wouldn't take my JK on. I've only ridden (walked) a motorcycle down them. If mellow trails and great views fit the bill, then main divide road would be great. If you would like to do something a bit more challenging, then we should probably ping Clackey or Eddie. I'm game for anything. For pretty much anything other than main divide, we'll have to get an early start, while main divide is no more than 30 minutes from most places in O.C.

Lytle Creek may have some good stuff, and from the highway I've seen trails out by Wrightwood. I've never been off road at either.

Anybody have any other recommendations around O.C?
