You are killing me... lol, Ocotillo is another place i haven't been to yet... Yes after calling all day today i finally got an ETA... a very very remote ETA... estimated 4/26 for the part to arrive with a Hugh emphasis on the estimated. This is unreal my 5 month old jeep will end up in the shop for over 3 weeks because of that... i just found that out.. my next call is to the Chrysler customer hot line where i am not going to be very understanding...

Anyone has any experience with anything like that.. is there a common appropriate remedy to this ?

If this were Facebook, I'd "like" that.... LoL
That's probably right that it needs to be programmed so it'll work with your key, unfortunately... Guess you're waiting =\

Opened case with Chrysler customer service... Including prior issues and the estimated shop time for this repair this will put my car in the shop for close to 30 days out of the 5 months i have it..

You should have them pay a months car payment

At what point does the lemon law go into effect where you can just get a new one? ... of course the upgrades might make that difficult...

I think that will be acceptable... ideally a 2012 Rubicon would be even nicer

I think a new vehicle might be a bit more complicated to get, but i will push for it... i can't even imagine what we would of gone through if we would get to the top of the Rock and that is where the TIPM would stop working...

BTW... i have heard that the gate at the bottom of the trail was placed by the City of San Diego.. there is a good chance our days on that trail are numbered..
