Batesville, Ar
yeah the guys at the dealership just put what it says on the side of the tire and that is the max air pressure. I try and run about 30psi, the tpms starts going off when you drop below 30 which sucks.
I finished the pergola...I started our lean to/barn/storage shed today up behind the house in the pasture. It is 16'x42'. 3 horse stalls, a drive-thru on end for tractor and other equipment, and a storage room 6'X20' After I get it finished and floored, I believe I will have enough for bumpers and winch. It will be pretty nice. Do you guys know where I can get some pre-fabbed truss'?
Talk to Phil he knows a guy named Vance that builds trusses up towards Cave City. I dont know the name of his company, but I know they build prefabed trusses for houses and buildings.
Isn't there a place called "Grady Truss" on the way to Cave City on the right?
And about the TPMS: Just ordered the Superchips Flashpaq from Northridge 4x4. It allows you to dial down the threshold to about 20 psi I think since they just released a software update. Alot of people were hacked that it wasn't low enough for airing down much lower for offroad but I just read a post by Superchips themselves saying an offroad only setting was coming very soon that allows down to 0 psi. There are legal issues (due to the Ford/Firestone lawsuits) that makes you sign a waiver to download that software setting probably stating that you will only use it for offroad use. Can't wait.... my tires are waaaaaaaay to stiff.

Damon, I don't know how much experience you have with architecture, but I am fairly certain you guys covered the idea of "counter lever?" I am really trying to figure out how a counter lever makes a structure more stable. Assuming that is a true statement...I figured I would ask an engineer...
The reason I ask, is because I was specifically told to build the pergola with a counter lever.
Sorry this is not on the jeep topic...
Also, message forum member Clump about his Flashpaq. He is trying to send it back to SC because he doesn't want it...I offered 275 plus shipping and he said that was too low because he paid 330 plus shipping. You might hit him up and see what happens.

Doc i got to check out your tire carrier in the walmart parking lot this morning. I really like it. I cant wait to see how it swings open. I also like those tires, I wish i would have bought the km2's but they came out about a week after I got my km's.
Thanks on the bumper/tire compliments. I really like all so far. Is that a home built hitch-hauler rack? I dug it! I want something for deer season so I don't have to throw a stinking, tick infested deer (hopefully) in the back of the Jeep. Really stunk up my Avalanche last year! I would prefer a rack that will fold up and allow some crawling clearance if needed when empty yet not get into my tire on the swing.
Anyways... got my FlashPaq hooked up! Unfortunately it was delivered AFTER I went to a cabin for the weekend in Calico Rock and did a bunch of hill driving in the Sylamore Forest area and would have made a good test run.
First impressions:
REALLY like it. It really seems to smooth out the shift points and not hunting for gears when getting up to and hanging around highway cruising speeds. Seems more peppy and like it returned responsiveness that I lost after putting the big tires on. Really seems to drive better than even with stock tires. Not a sports car but that's not what was expected. Was nice to recalibrate the speedo and the most recent update let me dial my tire pressure down to 29 psi without setting off the TPMS light/dinger. They should release an off-road TPMS setting soon allowing down to 0 psi. However, I never go below 12 psi without bead lock wheels. By the way... has anyone checked out the Staun internal bead lock innertubes!??? Really simple and cool idea!
I've only done a few short highway drives with the 87 tune. After another tank of 87 I will probably try a couple tanks of 91 with the 91 tune. Northridge had them on sale for $310 with free shipping by the way.
