Beasley Trail Run - October
i have never been to the trails at the falls... but i will give them a shot. Are you surethey are jeep friendly??? or just atv/dirtbike friendly?
Not sure. I heard Amicola Falls come up as an option when we were discussing early on where to ride (Beasley somehow came up on top).
As soon as I suggested off-roading that weekend I got roped into helping setup some servers that weekend. Normally, I'm not involved in the hardware, but because I need to be there because its setting the foundation for some of my systems that I'll be developing. Right now I don't think that weekend is going to work now. But, I'll let you know if that changes. I'll be getting a comp. day for that work, so I might be able to go up during that week if any of yall are still game.
Regardless of what's happening then I will be going to Beasley.

Okay, so this is my first ever post as i am new. I have a stock 4 door JK and live in the middle of NOWHERE about 20 minutes away from Beasely. I went up it once last weekend and once the weekend before. it was pretty well groomed and not bad at all... like I said mine is stock and I made it all the way... mine did scrub a time or two on my belly though... (nothin the skid plates couldn't handle =D)
I DEFINITELY want to go with you guys...
Does anyone know who and how many are officially going?
p.s.- The second entrance coming from B-ville is WAY better. (the one by the propane place)

just a bunch of hill climbs and some decent turns... couple of rocks (nothing big)... and as long as it is not muddy and slick... its fairly easy riding. Pretty steep in parts and a bit hair raising going down at points

I copied the first set from mountaintravelguide.com
below are the directions posted on:
http://www.fs.fed.us/conf/rec/ohv/beasley-vicn-map.htm
DIRECTIONS - There are two parking areas from which to enter the OHV trail system. Beginning on US 76/Highway 515 in front of the Blairsville Post Office, go east for 0.7 mile. Turn right onto Windy Hill Road, a paved road. At 0.7 mile when Windy Hill curves sharply to the left, go straight onto a gravel road. After 0.1 mile, turn left onto a narrow gravel road, Forest Service Road #851. Continue 0.8 mile to the OHV trail system parking lot.
Beginning on US 76/Highway 515 in front of the Blairsville Post Office, go east for 3.4 miles. Turn right just before two large propane tanks onto Rosemary Lane, which is also Forest Service Road #93. At the first fork, go left. At the second fork go right. Follow the road to the parking lot at the end, a total of 1.6 miles.
I apologize for the confusion. My original post is edited with the accurate directions.
