Christmas Ride at Mountainside
You pay as you drive up a gravel road into the park. It's fairly casual, they have a tent canopy set up along the side - you stop, sign a release, then pay $10 a person. Driving up the gravel road another couple hundred feet or so takes you to the main parking lot/assembly area. I suggest we meet there throughout the morning as folks filter in from various locations.
By the way, make sure you ask for a map when you pay.

I have not installed a lift on a jeep before but have on a couple of trucks. I dont have any air tools either.

Here's a pic of me, and a few other Huntsville area guys on our second trip to Mountainside - note the red TJ with "ground effects". He went all over the park, skipping the obviously difficult stuff, and had a great time.
Found out that we have a family gathering Saturday, so I will not be able to make it. There is always something keeping me off the trail. Maybe we can set another ride up sometime after Christmas. Be sure and post lots of photos...
