Tentative plan is to leave Wendy's (near Moores Mill Rd intersection) on Hwy 72 E at 9:00 AM.

Have a couple ideas on trails I want to run, but am open to other options depending on what folks want to do. We should be heading back way before dark, so back in the Huntsville area say roughly around 5:00 PM.

Gary or Jason,

If you have a SWR meter, can you bring it? I went to tune my new ant. and something seems a little fishy with mine.

good deal, I'll be at Wendy's NLT 8:50. I'll just follow your lead as this will only be my second time out to Skyline. 5:00 PM return is ideal for me; I've got a 6:30 engagement that I can't miss.

CB's on Ch. 22??

My SWR reads really funky so it's useless. Dennis was talking about going with us and I know he has a decent SWR Meter. Has anyone heard from him yet?

Unless Dennis bought a new SWR meter, the one he had was mine.

I used to have a reading around 1.3... now the best I can get is 2.7 to 3.0. I have check everything (cable, mount, ant) and nothing is shorted out and everything has a 50ohms res. I then changed my ground wire from a 12 ga. to 8 ga. wire. This did not help. I am thinking that either the SWR meter is not operating properly or I have a ground plane issue.

I'll bring mine Brandon. Have you checked to make sure it's not a grounding issue?

Edit: Just saw your second post. Unless you're trying to tune the antenna inside your garage, it's almost certain to be a grounding issue.
