well...saharacon is going the dealership next tuesday to get a little trans work done. It will be about 2 months since the parts got ordered. Nothing like having to rebuild the trans with 17k on the clock. Also hope they fix my header issue. Mine plastic one is really bowed up and I can barely get the top on/off the Jeep anymore.

 

A couple of us bought some Trailmaster "accessories" and will be putting them on pretty soon.

I am forced to break the unfortunate news that I am considering trading in the JK and going to back to a truck!!

I've had fun with the Jeep over the past few years but it's becominig more of a nuissance to drive than it's worth. I really hate to see it go but I'm just needing something a little more family friendly for road trips; not to mention all the hauling I've been doing lately.

Who knows maybe I'll change my mind?? I'm torn in both directions right now . There are so many things to love about the JK but unfortunately there are things I hate; like the quickly burning $325+ tires due to my 50 mile round trip drive to work everyday, the sluggish uphill battle, being scared to pull into traffic, not to mention the clutch slippage that just happens to be out of warranty.

Anyone want to beat some sense into me??? or buy some parts if I decide to go to the dark side??
