Welcome to the thread and the forum.

Have you started modding the JK yet - fun, but can get expensive depending on what you modify?

i havent done anything yet, but i am getting 35's and a lift on wednesday. I am taking it to rocket city off road in huntsville. he suggested a 4" lift, I hope that isnt too much...I dont like the hugegap that makes the tires look small...should i got with something lower?

That sounds a bit much, you can clear 35s no problem with a 2.5 inch coil left, such as teraflex. A 4 inch lift could clear 37s.
What lift exactly did he suggest?

That is a huge lift for 35's. As a reference, I have 35's with no rubbing with only a leveling kit. I do have Bushwacker flat fenders, but you don't need 4" of lift to clear those tires. That said, I am sure you are going to get more articulation than I have.

Won't you also need new drive shafts with a 4"?

Good luck, I am sure it will look great when you are done though.

4" with 35s is a bit much. 2 or 4 dr? Stick or auto?
I would think either way you would have to change out front drive shaft.

Oh yeah, and welcome.
