Next Middle TN Wheeling Adventure - 9/24
**Edit** I created this post and I just found out I can't do that date :( How about 10/1?
Since planning is critical, lets start planning our next wheeling adventure. My vote is for 10/1.
I am not sure how to set up a pole, but looking for suggestions on the next place to go. Here are a few options:
Wooly's (http://www.woolysoffroad.com/)
Land Between the Lakes (camping?) (http://www.lbl.org/OHV.html)
Golden Mountain (http://www.goldenmountainpark.com/)
Coal Creek
??
We will plan to wheel, cook out again for lunch, make sure we designate an official photographer, and have a great time.
We had 7 jeeps with us last weekend and had a ton of fun. Would love to see another good showing!

Honestly Golden Mountain isn't really worth going to, I've been out there a few times with my four wheeler since its close to home. The trails are in pretty bad shape and not very many are "stock or close to stock friendly", now it has been a couple of months since I was there last but I doubt much has changed. Id say LBL or Coal Creek, but the 24th works for me

I watched some youtube videos of Cole Creek and that place looks really cool. A hike for sure though.
I loved the trails where they were wheeling up an down a creek / waterfall. The terrain looks different from anything I have ever wheeled on before.
Thoughts?
Norm, how far would that be from your place?

Its closer for me than Woolys, but out of Nashville your looking at about a 150 miles give or take. Never been there but from what I've heard its worth the trip.

Whenever we decide on a date, you know I will be there, and with some new goodies. No hints yet but got things in the works. As far as a definite or not chance of me going really depends on my crazy travel schedule. I know I am coming home from ohio tomorrow (sat) but I have a return trip and a trip to texas soon but don't know when
The wishbone ranch in Bowling Green, KY (www.thewbc.com) is an option. However, since it is new and rely on donations, it is not open every weekend, must check the web site.

I'm down for wherever. I'm at Fort Campbell, so LBL is like 30 miles away. Not sure about these other places though.

I have done a lot of youtubing and I would like to head out to Coal Creek if that is cool. The place looks like a ton of fun with mixed terrain.
I am picking up a CB this afternoon and plan to have it installed before the event. Figure it would be nice if I can actually communicate with folks out on the trail!
