Dude, what you have done here is freaking sweet! I'm in a debate right now over the Powertank vs the ViAir on-board system. With 40" tires I need ALOT of air, especially when airing down to 12-16psi then back up to 38psi. Great ideas and install.

I have a nice big area to mount an airtank where the muffler used to be!!
I'm anticipating that the skid plate will arrive early next week.
Will post when installed.

The reason that I really like your idea jsr is because I don't plan on getting air lockers. I do plan on getting electro-lockers or like OX style and the only reason for having air at that point would be for tires. That's why I love your idea. Completely out of the way and there when you need it! You deserve a big high five for this one. I hope you plan on doing a write-up on it too. That would be even sweeter!

Very nice JSR, I too used Lee's pics and mounted the Viair behind the taillight and used the skidplate for the tank. I really like where you put the gauge. I ended up putting mine in my
Tuffy center console just below the shifter. Great job.

How did you secure the compressor inside the rear taillight housing?
