its about a 2.5 hour drive i think... i was going to head out after work around 630 or so...i guess we need to find directions before we can pick a meet spot... i will see what i can find

OKAY... i called and talked to Trey at the mountain... they just recently were given a physical address, but he said it would most likely not be on GPS, but to instead gps another place which is 3 stop signs away off Ladiga Street:
Roma Pizza and Steak House
1 Public Square E
Jacksonville, Alabama
Tel: 256-435-3080
From there Trey said you follow the directions per the website:
Turn slight right onto Jacksonville Public Square
Take imediate right, just before Roma's Steak House, onto Ladiga St (heading E)
Pass straight through first 2 stop signs, turn Right at 3rd Stop sign, take 1st road to the left
Hope this helps...
DJ...we could meet in somewhere in rockmart?? cause i will be going through p.springs and dallas... you would be driving southwest from cartersville... perhaps even cedartown before we cross into bama?
gimme a call and lemme know.
I may leave from work that friday and could be in that area within 30 minutes so 530 or so.

Time: 9am at the parking area (central time zone)
I can only make one day and will be riding on the 10th!

We are open every weekend!
Saturdays and Sundays 8:00am to 8:00pm
Daily Rate: $20 per driver $5 per passenger
Weekend Pass: $30 per driver $10 per passenger
Weekend pass includes primitive camping
*If you are going to wheel for 2 days and want to camp, contact the people at Choccolocco Mountain ORV Park. http://www.choccoloccomountain.com/index.php
After going through the thread I came up with this list of the ones who said that could make it. If you are not on the list post up and I'll add your name! I also need the days your planning to ride, one day or both days!

08GA - recommend you copy this from your post and paste it into the very first post so folks who havent been following this thread can find the latest and greatest info. I would also copy the address of that pizza place one fo the guys posted so folks can plug it into their GPS. Just a thought, something we always did on our motorcycle threads, put the latest and greatest inthtread number 1.

Check out post #1 for the updated info! We will meet at 9am in the parking area and hit the trails around 9:30am. We will start out on CB Channel # 20!
