No one has the pic of it yet. Neither am I. But I will be announcing it and offering it as soon as it is actually available.

Well, I didn't get that vid done...got out to the ORV park and my freakin camcorder was dead. Not sure why, I had charged it.

Anyway...

I broke one of the plastic wing nuts for the quick disco while loosening them, got the top down, secured the rack, and afterwards ran to HD.

IF you end up breaking yours...look for some Stainless 3/8" #16 (course thread) wing nuts and they fit right up. Shouldn't need to worry about them breaking anymore...

GOBI in action...

My Gobi Stealth is on order now!

I was wondering if anyone had any information on the relocation of the Sirius antenna which will be necessary after the Gobi install. The threads I've searched thus far all have 3rd party/extra antennas installed/mounted outside of the Jeep, and I was wondering if there was a way to just reroute the built in antenna without having to add buy another. Also, I do not want to mount it outside of my vehicle, so has anyone that's done this figured out a way to relocate with the stock Sirius antenna INSIDE of the vehicle?

Thanks!

I know it doesn't help but I had to buy another antenna and mount it just behind the hood. It was easier than trying to reroute the existing cable.

That's probably what I'm going to do -- can you give me some added info on the antenna you bought and a picture of where you put it?

At a minimum, you would need to buy additional cable. The cable that is there isn't long enough to accomplish what is needed. The stock antenna also has a permanently attached base that fits inside a socket in the roll bar. It may be possible to relocate but would need modification - modification that I was afraid would harm the antenna functionality.

Instead, I bought a $30 magnetic replacement antenna and used the extra cable it afforded me to move the unit a few feet toward the center, and further forward on the roll bar. You can get to it by removing the gusset plate that is found under the roll bar padding on the passenger side.
