Will there be any increase on buying just the lightbar? I think it's listed at $289 right now.

And what about the front insert? Will that remain the same or will there be a price increase?

Too bad on the price increase, I was waiting until Spring to buy one.

Anybody have specific dimensions on the top bar of the rack? I have a roof top tent that is 72x48 and want to see if it would fit on the Recon rack with the insert in place. I will most likely just keep the tent mounted on my trailer as it is now and use the rack for other things but it would be nice to have the option.

thanks,

Ridge

I can measure when I get home today for you.. Must say install was mostly a breeze. This thing is very stout! I just highly recommend you pay close attention with the hardware because one of the grade 8 bolts for the windshield was messed up in the threads and cross threaded into the windshield.. dont even want to get into the 4 hours of pain that ensued..

I've got a few with it in sunrider, but none with it all the way down.

If you go back thru this thread there are pics of David's rig without doors/top.

It actually doesn't look bad at all..I think it makes the JKU look a lot better.

Ridge,

here are the dimensions on my Gobi Stealth

Total Length : 90 inches
Total Width : 54 inches
Net Useable Rear Cage dimension: 34inches length X 48 inches Width
Net Useable Front area dimension: 39inches X 48 inches width

Your tent will fit in width no issues, in length theoreticall should not be an issue, however you might want to check it as there is a cross bar that separates the front part from the rear.

Hope this helps, Should u be needing pics let me know
