I'm considering offering a kit that will make is easy to add rock tubes to rubi rock sliders. I'm looking for feedback from anybody who's interested. The kit would be a straight weld-on kit. No cutting required. All parts would be bare steel.
The kit will include two pre-bent .120 DOM tubing and pre-cut cross-supports
Pricing looks to be;
4 Door - 250 plus shipping
2 Door - 225 plus shipping
Shipping will be $35 or less to the lower 48 states
If you're interested please post up, or send me a PM

I am for sure. I have already discussed this with my neighbor since he welds everyday. This issue has been getting the stock and getting it bent and notched.
On the 4 door how may straight braces will you use between the existing rock rail and the new tube?

I do agree with you that this is not the option for everybody.
Mandrel bent DOM steel, with all cross supports welded in place. That's a great deal. You can't even talk to a guy with a mandrel bender for less than $200.
It's funny. The only time I ever get accused of having a high price, is when someone compares my price to raw materials.
As compared to what else is out there for that price?

I don't know, thats why I was asking.
But I did compare it to say the cost of Shrockworks stuff which seems to be popular at 424.00 bare steel or 489.00 Powder Coated.
I guess I am trying to get you to explain why it cost so much as I have no clue what it cost to ask a guy with a mandrel bender to make them.
I have not a single doubt that you will put out a great product, I am just naive as to what it cost in materials and then to have it bent.
