The Dura Trac is exactly what I'm looking for I think! I'm never gonna be a hard-core off-roader, but I want something that can handle the mud & trails to get to remote camping sites etc., but something that handles well on road, pulling a trailer, and with the sipes already in it! Cool!

Those DuraTrac's do look like a sweet package. I just hope the 255 or 265 17's aren't over $200 a pop. Anymore than $200 a tire is a bit rich for my blood these days.

I hearby have renamed it to the:

Goodyear MT "FrankenTire"
I wasn't even going to consider this in my quest for 35's. Now you had to name it something cool like FrankenTire. What would it look like with the letters turned inside? (You want me to advertise for you? Give me a cut.)

I went to a Goodyear direct retailer yesterday and asked about the MTR's in a 315/75/16. He said they are scheduled for production on March 13 and were 345/ea vs the current MTR at 262. Didn't ask about the Duratrack

Kinda growing on me now... Pricing is not too bad either.

Holy crap, they are ensuring BFGoodrich's future KM2 sales. They are way, way expensive.
