Ok, I've searched and read through this thread and can't seem to find the answers to my question.

How many lumen's are the stock bulbs and how many lumen's are these going to be? If you don't have it in lumen's, how about candella?

Wattage, like mentioned earlier, means nothing other than how hungry the bulbs are. It doesn't give any indication of light output. For example compare a 15w incandescent bulb to a 15w compact florescent. The 15w florescent puts out more light than a 50w incandescent bulb.

I may be mistaken but I belive the Improvement has more to do with" Beam Pattern" than power.

If that's the case, then I'll just do the Stern kit later. He's using different bulbs in his kit so I was under the assumption he was actually outputting more luminosity at the same wattage due to changing the bulbs.

stock H13 is like 800/1200 lumens. The headlight conversions all convert the headlamp to a H4 based set up.

Stock H4 is 1000/1650 lumens. The osrams I have 80/85 watts put out 1750/2400 lumens. (HID puts out 3200 lumens).

My current IPF fatboys X4 in blue put out about 1200/1800 lumens with a blueish tinge. The osrams were WAY brighter.

So I can expect about a 20% improvement in luminosity over the factory bulbs with a tighter lighting pattern. Not to shabby.

Those Osrams are WICKED bright but they're also a much hotter bulb and would require the stern wiring kit. That being said it's a 100% improvement in luminosity!

Completely agree....the 2010s aren't any better, either.
