Good Morning,
We just finished installing a production set in our 2010 JK 4 Door. Everything is working fine.
We did notice that there is a little bit of a fit issue with the jumper loom. It appears to be a little bit off on the H13 side, preventing every loom from "Clicking" into place with the factory fitting. Our point of view on it is that the variation from male to female is not enough to cause you problems. The tabs slide right in and fit well. As the lights are fixed in place and the back side of the harness is fixed to the car we don't see enough movement in the system to cause issues. A little electrical tape on the fittings if yours don't "Click" will more than suffice to get you peace of mind and on the road with a great new set of bulbs and an improved beam pattern.
Further, we've been running this set of bulbs with identical connectors in our JK for over 3 months now with no issue.
If you do have issues that need addressing, please feel free to contact ARB Tech directly at: 888-427-2872
Thanks,

Thanks,
The fitment issue is with the connector that came on the short piece of wire that goes between the headlamp bulb and the stock (factory) connector. It would not go into the factor connector as there were three places where the plastic on the short adapter wire was interfering. Simple solution for me was to cut away the offending plastic and then they fit great.

David, are there orders that will be shipping today since there is no issue with the connector?
I guess my question is this; I ordered these lights this weekend and was wondering if my order would get filled with the first shipment.
Thanks.

I think you're talking about something else if you've been running with them now for 3 months.

I posted pictures to show how the connector differed from the stock connector and the third picture shows how we removed the offending plastic piece to make a tight fit. Once we figured out what needed to be done to correct the situation, it took all of about 15 minutes to modify the connectors.
Please do not misunderstand me, I am totally happy with the new setup including the modification we had to make to get it to fit. I do understand sometimes these things do happen. At least it's not as bad as the Blue Oval fiasco with the 1999 and 2000 Ford Mustang Cobras requiring a major fix!
I have to totally disagree with that! Regardless of how hard we tried, they would not click into place! And considering that we sometimes subject these vehicles to dirt, water, mud, and all kinds of other nasty things as well as vibrations, I didn't want to electrical tape them together so I went for a more permanent solution. I've been around long enough to see what happens many years later with electrical tape. It does eventually loose it's grip and will fall apart some day!

David,
“Click” or “No Click” I’m still excited! These are going to be great!
So after the whole argument ensued above, whats the result? If we have fitment issues, we email ARBSeth? Or should we deal with Northridge? I am still waiting on my lights, but I figured I should check into this before the issue comes up...
And Dave: Do we get tracking numbers from fed ex or do you have them?
I know we should get them by Saturday, but I will be at work all week and I need to be home for FedEx to drop stuff off...

I think Dave shipped them out FedEx and not UPS :P
