I went with the Brawler Bar so I could fit it into my garage. Its not a huge difference between the two but it was enough to make it not fit into my garage.

There is no interference with the plate gusset version. The only problems we've had were with the DOM tube gusset version, and even then it was just a simple matter of elongating the winch mounting holes to move the winch backward slightly. So you should be fine.

with or with out the winch ? My concern would be if I do this bumper and add a light winch later am I gonna find out now I need to beef up suspension another cost chasing gremlin ?? love the looks of the brawler light with tube gussets and brawler bar ! they look awesome but im not lifting my jeep in the future
decided already staying stock ,

don't want to grind or cut anything please advise here or even pm me on the issue im not sure of the weight on a stock bumper but it would seem that going from like 45lbs if they weigh that to 90 wouldn't sag it much but I haven't a clue , I don't want to be unsatisfied later and im sure you guys would know for sure
The Brawler Lite with Brawler Bar weighs 74 lbs. The Brawler Lite Skid weighs 30 lbs. Those are both shipping weights, which will include a couple lbs of packaging. I would bet that that 104 lbs. wouldn't noticably weight down the front. Remember you're offsetting some of that by removing the stock bumper components. But perhaps someone here who has installed one on an otherwise stock JK can chime in, as we haven't done that ourselves. Everything we work on usually has quite a few mods, including suspension.

You'll still have to grind a little. Really, its not that big of a deal--I can tell you're very concerned about it since you've asked that question in both of our bumper threads. If you can properly turn a wrench, as is required to install this bumper, then taking an angle grinder to shave off a few eighths of an inch of useless sheetmetal shouldn't be too tough. If you don't have an angle grinder you can get one at Harbor Freight for about $9.99.

I have this set up on my 2012 JKU with 2.5" TF lift. PSC makes a great product. Install of the bumper was very easy. However in my opinion the addition of the skid is a bit of a pain. Not all the bolts to attach the skid to the bumper will not fit and the two that attach at the same location that the bumper attaches to the jeep frame actually impede you from installing the bumper. They would hit the frame and not allow me to slide the bumper into place.

Also I found that I had to remove the stock crash bar completely bc the skid would contact the bar.

Maybe I did something wrong. Lord knows I'm not handy.

My front end sags down a little bit but not much (no winch) but that can be corrected with a 1/2" spacer.

Looks like the Poison Spyder Brawler Lite is the perfect JK Bumper for snow wheeling!

Thanks to Robert Perrella for this shot.

Thanks to Randall Davis for this shot of Chris Brock's rig.

Thanks to Bernie Horstkamp.

Another gem from Randall Davis. Brawler Lites on all three of these rigs.

Thanks to Clint Wilson, who keeps us in a steady supply of great shots.

Even the new Brawler Lite with Trail Stinger gets some snow action. This shot courtesy of Coralee Lack.

I may have posted this one from Sean Ringer before, but its fitting for this post.

And finally this one from Anthony Karlos.

Is there a way to order these painted or powdercoated? Or are people rattle canning them? The bare steel look is well... not for me.
