Had mine on a few months now. Great product and probably the best value bit of armour out there. Little bit of modification to get it to fit my New Zealand spec JKU but all good.

These looks great--however it appears they do not fit a 2013 2-dr, is that correct? If so, any idea when they might be available?

Just installed today. Great quality but what a pain in the ass when you don't have a lift!! To top it off dropped my 16mm down into the skid tightening that last bolt... Oh well, and excuse to get more tools. The skid looks bullet proof, glad I bought it!

Hey guys we recently re-designed the Poison Spyder Evap Skid. Its now even easier to install, with separate installation kits (both are included) for either 2007-2011 or 2012+ applications. And yes, it now fits 2012+ 2-doors too!

Check it out HERE or get it from any of our Authorized Poison Spyder Dealers!

Default 2014 JKU PSC Evap Install

I just installed the poison spyder eval skid on my 2014 JKU. Like some other people, I broke off the clips that hold the hoses so it's off to auto zone. I have a 2.5" lift which made working under there easier. Unlifted jeeps might need some muscle to hold the skid up when installing. (or just use the jack).

Overall this thing is a beast compared to the stock skid. Went on VERY easy once I broke the clips off. I feel it's worth the investment.

I never thought it was worth spending for armor to protect something that costs less than the armor. If you break it, you'll still get home ok. This is kind of a bling bling item and an easy mod for those who aren't very mechanically inclined but are dying to mod their jeep, which is cool too.

I read a lot of people discussing that argument and the cost of replacing one is probably half the cost of the skid. For me, I'd rather put the skid in and not deal with replacing a broken one (or two) down the road. Picking up the extra ground clearance in that area was another plus.

I guess it's personal preference. I really would rather cover it up front and not deal with it down the road. I'm sure others have no problem getting under there and swapping it out on the weekend. Just not my cup of tea.
