Excellent skid. I too went the route of cutting the rear two sides of the old tin skid on my 2012 JKU.
Was able to install without removing any of the hose/electrical clips You just have to be careful with the weight of the evap pulling on the wire/hose while you pull out the old and slide in the new, much heavier skid.

I made one mod to it - I put duct tape on the inside of the skid and filled the spider cutout with white silicone to fill the hole.

Why not just relocate the Evap Canister?
