Im not digging the silver rivets or bolts that surround the louver. Is there any way to get them in black?

 

Not from us. I checked with our hardware supplier for a non-corrosive black coated fastener, and came up empty. We use stainless steel so they won't rust. The only easily obtainable alternative with a black finish is black oxide, and unfortunately black oxide rusts very easily. I've heard some people refer to "black stainless" fasteners but I couldn't find them either at our supplier nor at McMaster-Carr.

if you are unable to source these elusive black stainless fasteners somewhere, you can always paint the heads of the ones we supply. I've seen some installations where that was done and it came out clean.

 

How about a stencil to put on the PSC logo like the Mountain Spyder decals

 

If you have a source for them please post it up for those who would like to use black screws. Thanks!

I just ordered mine. What's the best tool for cutting the hood to fit this?

 

I used a cut off wheel from harbor freight worked perfect.

 

X2, id like to know as well, going by my gauge alone it used to read just over the halfway mark, once I installed this louver it reads right under the halfway point.
