No problems
I am working with Starlie to try and get a new template tomorrow (I really like the new cutting template better)
I just wanted to bring the issue to your attention.

myklt8, and anyone else who recently received a JK hood louver with the old template:

I did some digging and it looks like we had run out of the new template so the guys out in shipping started using a few of the old ones we still had around. Please accept my apology, that's my personal fault as I should have had those discarded when we started using the new template. I'm not sure how many got out like that, but if anyone else got one and you would rather have us send you the new template rather than use the old one (it will work, its just a more intricate cut pattern) or measure and cut on your own, just drop a note or a call to Starlie in our office, she can get it sent out to you. starlie@poisonspyder.com or 951-849-5911. And once again, sorry for the inconvenience!

myklt8, yesterday morning after seeing your note I immediately started looking in to what was going on, figured it out and orderd some new templates and they came in later that day (good to have the large format printing guy right down the street!). But I'm not sure whether Starlie was able to get one out quick enough for you, as they showed up right at the end of the day. I know you've been in contact with her so please drop her a note to get the update on your replacement template.

is it possible to use the Vector Offroad Ufo's to replace the footman's loop and rubber bumpers with this hood louver?
Not sure if they would be compatible or not. Thanks

You'd have to ask them, but I don't see why not. As long as the UFO allows for an extra .063" of thickness in the material it fastens to, it shouldn't be a problem. That would be a cool looking combo I think.

i think so too, but I don't fold the windshield so I want to loose those bumpers and footman loop. I have $40 invested in these UFO's and want to use them. .063"? thats pretty thin....they should work.

Starlie is great, she sent me the tracking last night
Tracking says it will be here Friday, so I have a weekend project instead of a holiday project
Thanks again for all your help.

Well I live in MT and worried about the snow piling up in the winter time but trailskinz makes a hood skin that would fit pretty well over this to protect against snow. It's magnetic so should be and easy fix and quick take off. Might not work but heck if it does makes my life easier.

Folks,

I was one of the very first people to have the PS Louvers. I live in Colorado Springs and get into the mountains... a lot. I have had no problems with snow, rain, dust, wind or bird deification. It is a well made product and you will have absolutely no regrets ordering one and installing. Crawling on the trails my temp gauge never gets over normal.

And yeah... we wheel hard.

I just got mine in. Which is the old template and which one is the new? Mine has a big "X" in the middle that needs cut out.
