I already have ideas on how to make it work if you are interested. If it happens can I get a discount

 

Our design guy was already checking it out yesterday and getting some ideas. We had actually been thinking about something like this for awhile but weren't sure if there was a demand for it. If he gets stuck maybe we can work out a discount for your ideas.

Big +1 on some sort of locking deterrent cover for the MyGig unit - water resistance a huge plus on top of a huge plus.

An add on center top dash panel or any sort of replacement one that trumps the Daystar one would also be a very welcome item - I can guarantee I would purchase one if it matches the interior and fits better and without a logo like the Daystar has problems with.

I don't know if it would be practical but, I recently rented an SUV for work (think it was a KIA or Hyunda) and it had a doulbe lid. The one could be raised for storage of thin items, or the entire double lid opened for access to the large compartment.

Then for the debate between taller or the same height arm rest, this one had a linkage on the arm rest that allowed it to be raised into about 2" higher position.

I agree on the need for a stereo cover of some sort. I don't have mygig, but even the stock is inviting to a thief with the top off. As the interiors of these things get nicer, more need to lock everything down.

 

C'mon Tuffy... give us some teaser sketches or info or anything!
