Nothing really to be nervous about. They will work as shipped and you may not even notice any flicker. Easiest way to check is park in front of a wall and just sit there with ac/stereo on.

On Trucklites behalf, I dont really feel it is up to them to "solve". They really are producting a universal 7" round lamp. You cannot blame them for poor Jeep engineering. There is plenty of information and knowledge on this forum to aleviate the issue. You can do it yourself for a cheap as 10 dollars with acouple capacitors from radio shack, or pay the 115 and get a harness from rally lights.

Technically they are "Plug and Play". Some have the issue of flickering and some don't. I wish vendors would just include a proper harness with the headlights but it costs money so the cheap fix is to include a plug and let the customer "deal" with it. Would be cool if a company would spend the time to add a capacitor in the plug solution and include it with the lights even if it is a few dollars more.

Good to hear about the release. Does this new version actually fix the hot spot problem of the last release? I own a pair of the last ones, and although they're bright, it's REALLY annoying to have such a narrow beam pattern!
Thanks!

from my understanding, and what Jerry said at SEMA, the hot spot problem is gone. The 2 LEDs reflect out making a more even distribution

Anyone have more pics? Hard to tell how wide the pattern is based off the pics provided... I would really like to see something down a straight road showing width and if there are any gaps. I don't need to see the numbers as I know that is a PITA to set up.
