x2 I was thinking of a 12 step program for this, but they don't have twelve different things available to put on the JK. Anybody out there within driving distance of Durango interested in a slightly used security drawer and console insert? I'm already on my second generation of Tuffy mods.

Looks like it will be a while before they actually start shipping. I ordered last week and got an email today saying it was considered a special order since it was already on back order... weird.

Ayway, the projected ship date is 5/29/09.

I hate waiting..... but think how happy I will be when it arrives!

One of the issues they're having is how to package it for shipping. It's big and flat, all of the stuff UPS loves to use for trampolines.

Great, I did not know that about the power locks.
How about a bi-fold top?

Having seen it, I don't think the design would work with a folding top. A great degree of its strength and security comes from the one piece top sliding in and out on the rails.

Tuffy, you will sell out of these fast. You better make a huge production run. I just got approval from the boss (wife) and she even transferred $600 in my bank for this and a glovebox... Can we still get in on the first batch?

Yes, we are getting a bunch of orders for these but I believe there are still some available from the first run. As Seer mentioned, packaging has been one of the primary delays but I think we got that figured out yesterday. Unfortunately, it looks like packaging materials are going to add at least another $20 to our cost but we are still going to hold our original price for now.
