Do you have to remove the flare too or can that be pulled off with the actual fender? I'm just asking because those Bushwackers were a pain in the ass to get on and I'd hate thinking about ripping one off and re doing it.

Default wow!

thats all i can say. that is very interesting and i never thought that is how its going to work. i do like and it looks good. i really hope this can stay around the orignal price. im looking very forward to this as usual i just cant believe thats how its going to work. is there going to be like a drain type plug at the lowest portion for water? you said it could be drained that seems rather helpful but is it as much as taking it all apart or can this be done on the trails? well thank you so much rugged rigde for this huge update. i cant wait to get my order in. keep up the good work guys!

Yes.... and no. All bolts are located along the top of the fender (under hood), side windshield bracket, just inside the door, lower seal, top of cowl and under the fender. The one hidden bolt is just under the fender liner up at the radiator grille support.

Sounds like alot but really not bad.

You will be able to remove the flare with the fender. As for draining this can be done from outside the rig. Drain tube will be reachable from behind the liner.

Sounds pretty simple. Now to wait for the release and pricing...

In other words, no big visible holes cut into your cowl, hood, or side of fender.

ALSO remember that a lot of people wanted the snorkel to work with a dual battery tray.... This design allows that..

I think its jut awesome. I rather remove the fender than cutting a big hole. I do think about the paint, but come on, you have to be carefull when cutting a big hole too.
Keep it up RR... I think this is just great.
And by the way, you know this more than mot of us,there's no single product out there with 100% acceptance, there's always something someone won't like. Even the JK itself... How many owners here complain about their own jeeps?
And another by the way... Saw the automated soft top... Looks awesome! (is it true it's around the $5K range?) - sorry for the gange on suject.

Thnx

That rocks. Y'all were thinking outside of the box and came up with an awesome design. I ordered a 2012 Rubicon and that looks like the snorkel for me.
