What would you like in a snorkel design?
300-400$ range
a complete system with new fully sealed airbox instead of trying to seal up the crappy factory one.
Cutting is no problem.
The AEV design is good but their instructions suck.
If you can make a complete airbox and snorkel system for about $400, you'll have all the customers.

In the past I have always like the idea of the Volant style which incorporates a CAI box that can be boarded up when you need the snorkle to be functional. However their JK design is so fugly. I keep waiting for it to grow on me but nothing yet.
So I would like to:
1 Keep my rubicon sticker visible
2 work with dual battery trays
3 have an integrated CAI with a manual switch (or change of some sort) that seals up the CAI and initiates the snorkle operation when needed. Most of the time I prefer the CAI, but when you need a snorkle the traditional CAI are the worst.
Price doesn't really matter, and neither does material.

I think the smaller exterior mass of the River-raider is what makes it so much more appealing... i would love a more inexpensive alternative with similar design characteristics of the R.R.
2x on a drain catch. Work with; lights, antenna, short. Maybe an extra filter as an option. Less cutting and making the air box water proof or new box that will take a filter. < $401
