Default Will this snorkel work with windshield-mounted lights?

KC lights & brackets?

Or, is this a Rugged Ridge-compatible design only?

Well... Hard to say... We have it working with our W/S frame light mounting brackets. Everyone looks to have it mounting in the same spot but I have not ordered everyones brackets to test. Good news is that they are not that expensive . With that said I would think it would fit with minor trimming.

OK, thanks for the info. I'm very curious to see how this turns out. I'd rather not trim brackets, nor buy new ones if it can be prevented by tweaking the snorkel tube a few hundreths of an inch or so to accomodate. It may not be a big deal either way.

Have you fabbed some examples, or are you still working on the base?

We should have a rapid prototyped version installed by the end of next week. I will see if I can post pictures then.

Sorry.
Discussing this with a few gear head buddies today... We figured the firewall would have to be cut in some way to allow the intake tube to pass through. (kind of a given) Hoping that's all that would really need to be cut.

Default what i would like to see

Is a snorkel application that can be used with your mirror relocation brackets, i drive doors off all the time, so a mirror relocate kit was essential, i believe no snorkel lets u have that kit cause they run down side of windshield, maybe something that runs up front of windshield frame so miiror relocate kit can be functional.

... Got to make it work with our other products. It would be sad if we could not make that happen .

You got me..... So where did you guys figure the cut would be made seeing how it has to work with our dual battery tray?

Wait... What?
Are you saying it doesn't get cut? How would the inlet make it's way from the snorkel to the air box? Are you trying to make me crazy? (crazier)
