What would you like in a snorkel design?

they said earlier in the thread that it is minimal cutting and the Jeep can be returned to stock if needed fairly easily.

I absolutely love it. One question: why is it open to the rain? I thought the earlier sketches had a bit of a hood, like a roof vent on house plumbing. I know you said we'll be able to disassemble and drain/clean, but from daily rain? Can you elaborate this part of the design?

If it does not have the higher intake it's not really a snorkel. The design in the photo looks half finished. All it is is the intake moved back and up maybe 2". What's the upper intake look like? Will it have one?

he stated that that was just the base.... either the low profile air scoop or the tall snorkle will attach to the intake there..... it looks half finished because you are only seeing half of it

My jeep has ruggedridge parts all over it. I'd love to add this new snorkle to the collection if it turns out the way I hope it does
