I would have to say that we are looking at summer time at best. Sorry guys but we have to work out the bugs before we have it in your hands. Don't want you to do the R&D for us. I know this looks like a long time but please keep in mind that this thread was started (last summer) as a way to get you're feedback and to show the guys here at Rugged Ridge that there would be a market for a product like this. Real development did not get started until after SEMA (Nov. of last year). With that in mind we are making good progress. We have other cool new items we are working on that will show that we have not been just sitting around with our fingers up our .... well you know where..

Will be able to supply a better (more formal) design image by Tuesday of next week. This will be closer to what the production parts will look like.

Take the time needed to get this done right. I would rather have a well made and HD part then one that will break or let water in during some situation.

Agreed 100%. I like what I'm hearing about this snorkel, but I certainly don't want to install something that's going to fail me. Get it right. I'll wait.

Agreed, I was just wondering because they had pictures of the cowl portion out and was hoping to see the full size thing to know what we're in for. Although if they are trying kill us with suspense they are doing a damn good job of it.

Low mount and high ram air mount yes... Making provisions for Donaldson pre-filter
with high mount will make contact with the inside edge of the bar. Looking to see if we can work around it without it looking funny.

Recap,

'Will the snorkel work with the Rugged Ridge light bar?"
Low mount - Yes
High mount (Ram Air Intake) - Yes
Low Mount (Pre-filter system) - Yes
High mount (pre-filter system) - At this time no

"Will the snorkel work with the Rugged Ridge W/S frame light brackets?"

Low mount - Yes
High mount (Ram Air Intake) - No
Low Mount (Pre-filter system) - Yes, but filter will block light
High mount (pre-filter system) - No

"Will the snorkel work with mirror relocation brackets?"
Low mount - Yes
High mount (Ram Air Intake) - Yes
Low Mount (Pre-filter system) - Yes
High mount (pre-filter system) - Yes

"Will the snorkel work with dual battery trays?"
Low mount - Yes
High mount (Ram Air Intake) - Yes
Low Mount (Pre-filter system) - Yes
High mount (pre-filter system) - Yes

Well, that's the down side of being part of the design phase, we have to wait longer for finished product than if it just appeared onto the market one day.

RR will lose some buyers, but may gain more by having people wait for a product they want rather than settle on something else. That's me. I'm waiting for this one.
