What would you like in a snorkel design?
I am anxiously awaiting the release of this product....I had a very close call a few weekends ago.....thank goodness my K&N kept the mud and water out...it was A REAL CLOSE CALL!
I told myself after that experience that my next purchase was a snorkel....hopefully wont have to wait too much longer
If you need some testers... SIGN ME UP Please!!

OK... working with my mold vendor and we are having to rework a few parts to allow them to be removed from the molds with less effort (very important for large scale production). These are the small things you just cannot take account for until you are this close to production.
Here are a few images of the early prototype installed onto our 2011 JK (so please excuse the quality of the image and the rapid prototype part). As you can see the main body of the intake is mounted inside the front fender. This requires the removal of the front fender, but the flare can come off with the fender (at the same time). The side cowl will need to be removed (spot welds drilled out) and a section of the front fender will need to be removed. From there it is rather simple. The lower section of the air box is replaced and an aluminum air tube is routed between the engine and the shock tower. The stock air filter and intake tube to the engine are retained.

Just got me a 2012 Rubi. I will be getting one of the low designs, so please msg me when they become available. I am not on here everyday, so please pm so i will get an email. Also, a pre release order discount would be cool. I would do that.
Sorry for being away guys and gals.... We are working hard on a lot of new items to be shown at SEMA... Including this snorkel. delievery set backs from my plastic supplier have caused the delays. We received the first "early" first mould run of three prototypes. We have some modifications that are needed in regards to material texture, some key area volume, general CAD to production errors that will need to be corrected before going into production. As made everything fits correctly and there is nothing that we see to keep if from going into full production.
Lesson for me is to not stick my neck out so early in the planning stages..... Really had unexpected delays and I still have final tweaking to get done.
WITH THAT SAID .. I'm going to have to push back and say that we will have this to market by the first of the year.. If it's earlier than all the better. My mistake was setting a release date in the beginning and setting an expectation that in the end I am unable to meet (very, very sorry)...

Before we ship our Jeeps off for SEMA I will post an installation image..
