I have been holding off on a snorkel because I love this approach. The one question I have is if the intake system can easily be converted back to stock. This is important for us in California due to the smog requirements.

Two comments, so far:
1) replace that butterfly nut by something not so easy to be stolen (or offer an option in the kit). I'd hate to park somewhere and come back to something vandalized.
2) make the transparent plastic black

This is a snorkel I might buy. ;-)
