I'll defend them a little, the thread was started as a concept on a napkin. A year later they've done principal prototype testing and we're now waiting on shots of the unapproved production prototype.

Not too bad considering some company's, I want name due to forum policy, can have people waiting as long for products that have been "released".

I just want to see a picture.

Ok..... I will agree with you guys. Im as motivated as the rest of you. It all comes down to how motivated my reports are as well as the owner when compared to other key projects we are working on. This was my pet project that i managed to get approved with your help. We see how the interest sparked other companies to offer a simular product. We could have been to market sooner but I saw this as a chance to offer something new and different. As soon as i get the complete first samples (delayed a little - hope to have images soon). I will post up full details that include how it mounts, what you cut (very little), and how it runs behind the front fender to allow use of most , if not all, dual battery trays.

This time last year this was a napkin drawing. Wanted to have a concept at SEMA last year but just ran out of time. I promise to have a production ready version mounted at SEMA this year.. This includes a mounted and working sample for the new 2012 (3.6L). I have a 2 dr rubicon on order and will be shipping on the 5th so I will be able to be working on this very early for us new JK owners.... ( have to sell my 77 CJ that i have owned for the last 14 years).

The power top has been the big push this year and we hope that it does well. Im tasked with the prototype development of the 2dr version for next year along with the very cool aluminum bumper system we will show at SEMA..... if this was the only thing i was working on it would have been completed... for that i am sorry. I would ask you to look at the number of new products we come out with each year for the JK owner / compared to other companies, before you say im not motivated....

No apology necessary. Designing new and innovative products takes time and money; getting them ready for market takes even more. Take your time, get it right, and don't worry about the 3% of people who are going to bitch and moan no matter what.

I was fortunate enough to be able to check out the top and the snorkel while I was in Florida
Both appeared to be more of Rugged Ridge's quality products. I for one will wait for the snorkel to come out instead of buying one that I know I won't be happy with down the road.
