Default 07 Rubicon Axle

Hello guys! I'm new to the Jeep world just purchased a 2 door 07 Rubicon and the driver side axle is slightly bent to the point where the tire is slightly tucked back.... Is this fixable or does this mean new Axle? I'm tight on money so wanted to see my options. Attached is the picture of damage I know it's not much but you can sort of get an idea. Any info will help. THANKS

Is the housing bent or is the tie rod bent? You're probably better off buying a whole axle from a junkyard. And I would keep that axle for spare parts or part it out to recoup some cost.

Good luck finding a functional front 44 for a jk in a junkyard

Hey I just took some pictures of the damage I know it's hard to see but let me know what my other options are instead of forking out $900-$1k for used axle.

As you can see it looks like shock is slightly bent and the axle is also slightly bent

Your axle is toast, IMO. Sorry. Perhaps a cheaper D30 for now until you can get an upgraded front axle. I'd keep the parts for it so you can order a new housing from Dynatrac and replace the internals, but you'll probably need a new driver's side axle.

Did you sign up for the Teraflex axle giveaway? They should be drawing a name any minute.

Look for old dodge axels usually a lil cheaper but it will require you to do stuff to the axel to make it work properly
