Default Is this a 16 or 17??

Just wondering those who have or have had this rim if anyone knows what size rims this is i may be looking just to put a set of kumho road venture mt tires ( LT315/75R16) on the stock rim just to set me off a bit until i can get the money needed for the real lift.... and another side question, is it possible to fit 35's with no lift?? im sure it has been asked before(sorry)...thanks again

Look on the tire. It should say something like 225/75R16 on it. The number after the "R" indicates the diameter of the wheel. I'm 90% sure that's a 16" wheel.

A few people have installed 35s with no lift. I wouldn't do it or you'll rub like crazy. I think you'd be safe with a 1" body lift and 35s. A 1" body lift costs less than $150 and gives you a lot more room for larger tires than a suspension lift of the same height.

Yea it says 245/75/r16... so i guess it would be a 16...when i took a tape measurer to it came out to 17, but i wont argue the tire.... im thinking about maybe doind a body lift just for now to get some 35's under it, but i want a 4-6 ince long arm kit with 37's on 18's....i just dont have the money for it at the moment...so i suppose that wouldnt be a bad idea for now....thanks again for the help guys...

It is a 16"x7" cast-aluminum wheel, I believe Jeep stopped using them for '08.

the wheel measurement is done to the bottom of the wheel lip not to the top. hence why you got 17 instead of 16

I'm not sure you're ready for 37s and a long arm lift and all the mods that come with that, if you can't even tell what size of rims you have even if they're in front of you with tires that say the size. just my opinnion. so take it slow.

x2 Learn your vehicle first! No harm in asking questions, you have that part right, but don't get height lust and not understand stock functions/capabilities first.

They must have had some hold-over stock to use up. They don't offer them anymore though.
