Thank you fellas! This is why I love my Jeep family! I will get a PVC valve tonite and put it in. We will see if that works. I don't think my warranty is still good I need to look into it. I just hope I don't have to take it in to be fixed. I have read the threads about dealings with Chrysler....

I have an issue with my JK using oil? Is it possible?
It is NOT burning it, my exhaust smells normal
It is NOT leaking/dripping from engine
It is NOT in my radiator fluid
and it is NOT making any noises even tho it ran almost 4 qts low.. The idiot lit never came on. I thought my newer JEEP would be good. Since my boyfriend put the oil in to top it off is used about a qt in a week....

Track the oil consumption. If it's more than 1qt/3K & you are still under warranty, you might be able to get the dealer to check your rings (compression). If you are out of warranty go with a heavier oil.
Most important - check your dip stick at least every other fill-up (if not every fill-up). A quart low - no problem; 2qt low a bit worrisome; 4qt low - I'm amazed you didn't lock it up!

39k miles on my 09 and no oil consumption issues.
Replace the PCV as others have mentioned, it's a cheap and easy repair.
I always use 87, anything more is a waste of coin. The engine is engineered to run on certain octanes, newer cars will even compensate for lower octanes at reduced performance but my ultimate driving machine gets 92 and my Jeep always gets 97.
I did notice cheap gas made one of my cars stall with 87... it also gave me poor gas mileage so I only use quality gas now.
