No soaked floor as of today

TakeABackRoad, i agree with you; but i am impatient and a bit of an arsehole when it come to customer service and having to sit around and wait and get jerked around about the whys and hows and the bureaucracy of it all and then having to wait to get it fixed and not being sure if it is actually going to get done right makes my blood boil.
During the last conversation that i had with my dealership i got the run-around about everything i asked about and after an hour i had more questions than when i came in; the last thing i said before i got my answers was "get me who ever is the head honcho, the big cheese. the bosses boss: I need to speak at him. not to him."

id rather be left along and fix it myself.
unless its something i cant fix..... in which case ill deal with it. but i dont wanna

Pog Mo, I think we were separated at birth. My gf read your response and said "Jesus Christ, this vilify is your twin". Glad to hear it's still working out for you. I had a sit down with the service mgr at my dealership. Taking mine in Tuesday after showing him all of your hard work. After what I went through with my 09, they can lick my ass if they think I'm going through that again. But I / we all appreciate your updates. Hopefully you single handedly resolved a problem "the man" couldn't fix. You should run for president!

Takeabackroad. On my 09, I did all that stuff. Lemon law suit and won! I won a whopping $2,000 dollars which the "free" lemon law lawyer took half of. So to Pog Mo's point, be the biggest PIA to your dealership or just fix it yourself.

i am incredibly glad to hear it!

ill call for a press conference tomorrow at noon to announce my running for grand poobah, hehe
also, I am the highlander... THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!

im actually here to report that ive had a damp carpet the last few days; drivers side again. this time it appears to be from the door seal- right at the windshield. this is something that i feel the dealership can handle...... or not, i honestly do not have the patients to deal with people
i aint even mad

Damp vs floor mat floating is easier to swallow. Keep us posted. May the force be with you.

We hadn't had any rain in weeks. I get in my jeep to go to work and the driver side floor had about an inch of standing water. I read several posts and all talked about the doors leaking when it rained. I read one post somewhere that said to check the windshield washer fluid line where it runs through the firewall. I followed the line after pulling the kick panel and door threshold off. The washer fluid line runs right under the plastic threshold. Sure enough I flipped on the back window wiper switch and there was a hole in the line right by the front driver side floor just pouring washer fluid into the floor pan. I drained the floor pan and cut the line and spliced it together with a hose mender. Thanks to whoever wrote that post!
