I am having the same problem, I noticed it right when I got it now it's getting a lot worse. I talked to my dealer and they gave me the same bs excuse of "it's a jeep thing" and then try to tell me everything is alright. The same issue when my soft top didnt come Undone, i went in and only till the mechanic took a chunk of skin off his finger did he Agree that there were issues. When I spend 30k on a vehicle I expect there to be some high customer service standards. Especially when it's 3 days old....

On a side note I wouldn't trade my jk in for anything else...

Just waiting to schedule the install... Will probably see if I can zippy the back or something after they warranty it.
Just had mine in at the dealership for this yesterday, they ordered the dash part for me, so just have to wait for it to show now. They didn't have to take pictures of mine. Or of they did, they didn't tell me.

Hasn't happen to mine yet. Unfortunately, it's been 299 days since we had temperatures above eighty here in Seattle.

Not sure we're even going to have a summer this year....

New face plate installed... Warped from factory... plus damage from a senior technician!!! Ohh yeah!!! They also stated that E-Brakes can't be adjusted "Bringing the Project-JK instructions along for the ride when the second dash trim comes in"

Also, having issues with my AC in idle on a 98 Degree or higher day (Condense fan kicks in on stage 2 but dies down after a few seconds). When I hit the interstate no issues.

This is my last jeep... seriously- I have owned over 15+ cars and never seen this shotty of workmanship...

Japanese... No issues with my civic, rsx-s, s2000, civic si or two STi's

Thats just a small portion- Think I would have been better with an FJ = ( of course their welds break! LoL

I have had mine since September last year and havent seen this problem yet. Probably should be reported to your dealer at minimum. The more complaints the better chance for recall work to do repairs on this. My dealer is a friend so I am definitely going to mention this issue to him and make him aware.

That sucks to have it in for a minor issue and they cause other cosmetic damage! So, is the dealer going to repair the damage as well as address the problem of the new panel being warped?

Actually the service guy said the same thing about my trim piece... I walked out to look at the Jeeps on the lot and some of them no issue, and some of them worse than mine to begin with. He was like well I hadn't seen them...

Luckily the damage is on the radio trim piece itself... they said... "Well don't worry about the scratching because we have ordered you a new on...

Of course I'm like if he did this to the first one and the second comes in and is perfect I don't want him marring it up!!!
