I have a 2012 2dr Rubi with Auto Climate control. Very happy with it, the fan changes speed when you are at the set temp along with the compressor activity. I use mostly with the soft top. I am in Florida and have had the Jeep since April 12 so mostly AC rather than heat. Have this feature in other cars (1996 Corvette) Liked it there so went for it on the Jeep. Was happy I did. Worth the few bucks more.

 

Thank you everyone for your responses they have certainly helped me to decide to go with the option. It would be better if it were dual zone, but this is a Jeep and frankly I'm amazed at the options in the '12/13 compared to the '07 I have.

I will also be going with the heated seats. I travel about the country so both will be nice to have.

i have it in my 2011, works great, especially coming from my 04 TJ Rubicon that didn't even have factory AC.

it works great from -35C to +35C, I maybe move the dial one notch over a entire year.

 

I have it on my 2012 and am very happy I ordered it. Well worth the money.
