Default 2013 Premium Soft-Top Cleaner

Just talked with a Rep. at Quadratec, and they said they don't have any or know of any products for cleaning the new premium soft-top. Since it is not that same Vinyl/Canvas that was on the other tops. Want to make sure I clean this thing as soon as the salt and grime is off the road. Anyone have any products or solutions?

Check out Formula 303. They make a rubber/vinyl protectant and a fabric protectant. I'm going to use the rubber vinyl on mine.

Default mopar convertable treatment works awsome its like

20 bucks a bottle but the dealer says put it every where on the top inside out if you choose my old 2011 had leaky seams it fixed that too ! spray it rightinto the seams and the top 2 times a season , ill need to get another bottle this year for my rubicon too ! first I thought it was a ploy from Chrysler but it does work well after trying it out

Do you have a link, I couldn't find it on MOPAR? And I would think if they make it, there should be some sort of third party manufacturer as well. Or at least I hope...

Awesome! $11 and you get the window cleaner as well. Just hate when things aren't classified for Prime Shipping. haha

Thanks for the help. First time having a factory soft-top and seeing the salt and road spray get on it, I want to clean it NOW

Default mine is loaded with salt and calcium its litterly white

theres no sence in bringing it to the u do it cuz it will freeze I doubt water would spray in 0 degrees I tried to keep it clean till December got it to the wash once in jan as it warms up it will see more of that stuff for sure it will repel the water a bit better too youl see it smells a little but disapates in no time don't expect lemon fresh its more like wd40 scent to it! its not going to be glossy its like when you buy it new !

good luck do all your zipper areas to to keep water out ! enjoy your jeep !

If you wanted to research other brands, the top is an acrylic type fabric. This is used in many other vehicles with soft convertibles.

Bestop claims their vinyl/rubber soft top protectant is not suitable, and currently they do not have a product for the new 2013 acrylic.

I would use a protectant first....Before owning my Rubi ..I had an Audi TT with the same sort of fabric which is cloth...I used a chemical called Fabrasil it is a liquid that you brush on ....very much like the coating they apply to new sofas and chairs but more durable and lasts ..Water and anything..bird poo just rolls off... It repells dirt....You brush it on once a year and your good to go. Google it ...I think you can only buy it in England but it is the only product I will ever use for such a top. It was really pretty great! I just saw the soft tops on the new 13's and fell in love with them...I am def saving my pennies for the new top..It is heavy duty and fits perfectly ...and especially love the cloth look and feel. They really out did themselves with this Top ..I was so surprised at the richness of it. Good luck ...I am green with envy(hopefully not for long)

I do loved the top. I was debating a hard-top which I had on my '08, but test drove the soft-top and it was amazingly quiet. So I said screw it, no need. I will look into this protectant spray. Thanks for the info. Good luck with the envy haha
