Default ABS Recall

Just got a call from my dealer and there is a recall on the ABS software that was just issued this morning.
Just thought you guys might want to know.
I do not have many details on it.
He said it was just a software update.

I think it is the G40, just released.

Looks like it doesn't apply to the 08's. I just ran my VIN at jeep.com and it didn't come back with any recalls.

Mine's affected as well. Yeah, I thought this recall came out like a month ago and was announced on the national news. Now DCX is just getting around to sending out the notices.

I think I'll wait to see how my lemon law claim will be handled before I take my Jeep back to the dealer.

Default Recall

Took mine in today to have this recall completed. It took about two and a half hours because the dealer didn't have the software downloaded yet. When they finally brought it out to me, the ABS light on the dash was blinking and the warning chime was going off. I couldn't believe they actually expected me to drive it away like that. I grabbed the service manager and showed him. They took my jeep back again and corrected it. We'll to wait and see if any other problems arise.
