Just thought I would add my 2 cents. I just got a 2012 Wrangler without power locks and hated not having them. When I had a Viper 5204 alarm installed by a local stereo, they added Audiovox door lock actuator and they work perfectly. They charged $100 per door…money well spent!

PART NUMBERS:

LATCHES:
4589505AG DRIVER FRONT

4589023AI DRIVER REAR
4589048AI PASSENGER REAR
4589048AI TAIL GATE

WIRING:

68066012AD PASSENGER FRONT
68066033AB DRIVER REAR
68066032AB PASSENGER REAR
TAIL GATE IS A BODY WIRING HARNESS
Where did you get the parts for those prices? About the best I have been able to find is $60 per door for the latches which is a far cry from $155. (This is for my '09')

Those aren't the right part numbers for a 2012....a couple look right, but some are wrong.....

And if that price is for one Actuator/Latch, Hope you haven't ordered yet....YOU CAN GET EM FOR ALMOST HALF THAT.....

Been reading and researching this for days now...found dozens of threads and they all are exactly the same:

OP says they're doing the upgrade, lists some parts (about half are correct, and the list is incomplete)
50 people reply to say they are subscribing
couple months go by and a few people ask what the status is
thread dies with no write-up or replies

HAHAHAHA!

Dang!

Which upgrade are you speaking of? OEM locks or Aftermarket Locks.

OEM is as Simple as buying the Door Latches which look just like that Manual ones with lock motor built in. buy harnesses. Have Flashed and done...

OK. I'm officially confused. The post above states you only need the "Presenter" for each of the rear doors (68014962AA/68014963AA) but most treads on this topic list the "Latch" (4589023AI/4589048AI). So what is the difference?? I've googled it quite a bit but can't figure it out. I'm all for saving $$ but I want to do this right the first time and never have to worry about it again or need any additional parts.

The Presenter for Half Doors are part numbers 68018097AA 68018096AA....Reason it gets confusion is because per Chrysler/Mopar, Half Doors Don't have Power Locks, and they don't Offer them...
