Mine sorta seems bad. I took it into the dealer, and they said there was a leak. They fixed it, and it seems better, but it still sucks.

It sorta cycles on and off seems like. When it gets cold, its nice, but that only last 10-20 seconds. Then it seems to warm up a little and cycle back and forth. Does anyone else noticed this? When its cold, it blows about 42-45 degrees. When it warms up, its about 50 - 55. Then it cycles back on and blows colder.

What do you guys think?
i can count the time that i have used my AC and each time it blows ICE cold... the front seats are very comfy on a hot day... the back seating area is noticably warmer.

1st time - driving home from dealer testing all the buttons
2nd time - 105* day in GA on the way to a nice dinner
3rd time - summer day in a tux for a wedding
4th time - out of town and nowhere to put the doors.

thats it.. other wise, its doors off!

Mine worked pretty good when I was down in Vegas last year. If it can keep me comfortable in 120+ heat (Phoenix guys know what I'm talking about too) then I'm happy with it.

Now...I prolly won't ever use it

I would say the AC and Heat are outstanding. Don't use the AC a ton but wife always complains she is too cold when it is on.

My AC blows (no pun intended) .... and not in a good way. If I ever go to the dealer for anything I will have it checked. Right now it's barely adequate on full blast. It was always like that and I just assumed it was another Jeep thing. Now that I know that other people have great AC I will definitely have to get it checked.

The heater on the other hand is an entirely different story. It's like a blast furnace.

Mine usually works well. However, today I was under the hood inspecting stuff and found that one of the pressure lines that go into the compressor was leaking around the stud that secures it. I tried to tighten it a little a of course that just made it worse to the point that all the coolant has leaked out. I am guessing that it there is an o-ring or something that has gone bad. Luckily it is still under warranty and I will be taking it in on wednesday. I will let you know what I find out. Anyway some of you guys that have had crappy A/C might have a slow leak and thus the poor performance.

do you have a hardtop? if you have a hardtop chances are you will never be happy with your AC unless you paint the top of it white or silver..the black top attracts a ton of heat and the white inside lets it out in the cabin. ...or you could also make your own headliner...I painted the inside of my top black for aesthetic purposes and noticed a big difference so far.

Mine works perfect with the hard top. Haven't tested it yet with the Trektop but it should work fine then too. If your AC is still cycling, they probably didn't charge it properly.
