Anyone change bulbs in their instrument cluster?
Has anyone changed the bulbs in the instrument cluster to a different color? Can it be done? I've been searching and can't find the bulb size and/or quantity needed. Any pointers? Thanks

Your chances of one going bad is next to nil. Thats the reason Led's replaced bulbs in almost every cluster being manufactured. I work for a company who makes the instrument clusters and Im involved in the testing of the circuit boards. the down side is you cant change the colors of the LED's because different colored leds require different voltages to fire them. for example red usually only requires 1.9 volts to light up where blue requires about 4. in the strange event you had an led go out on a telltale or something the car manufacture should treat it as a warranty condition because of a saftey related issue. I sriously doubt this would happen though.
