These are NOT the instructions we are looking for. I look forward to trying this on my JK within the next year if/when I finally get mine.

I finally did get this to work - but I read from another post in a different forum.

- shut the doors and turn the key from "off" to "on" (stop turning the key at the point just before the engine starts). Do this five times. On the fifth time the key should be in the "on" position, push up on the power door lock, twice.

When you press up on the door lock hold for about 3 secs. That is the KEY to making this work.

Can anyone verify these new instructions?

By the way, thanks for the update cmnah.

I'm pretty sure this is what I did. All I know is that now when I open the drivers door, all 4 doors unlock. Good luck. It would be nice if there was a chime telling you the code has changed. You won't know if it worked until you go for a drive.

I'm pretty sure I can verify it since they are basically the same instructions I gave back on the 2nd page of this thread. By the way, I know I didn't hold the lock button up for 3 seconds.

I have to say THANK YOU!!!! To all you guys who got this nintendo-esque up-down-up-down-left-right-B-A-start thingy figured out! I got my door locks to unlock both doors with one try! I also turned that retarded seatbelt chime off on the first try too! Both methods work perfectly... Oh, and I only pushed the doorlock up once.

I have manual locks, so I don't give a hoot about disabling it. I want to know how to disable the seatbelt chime when I'm wheeling, without it being hooked up.

The process is in the manual. I want to do that too! I will have to look that up!

There is a way, its in the manual. I had to try it a few times, but it works. Something like turn on jeep, click seat belt 3 times, click your heels twice, say awe, and turn your head and cough.
