15K and no real problems. Only thing that bothers me is the tranny shifts kinda hard between 2nd and 3rd when accelerating. But, it has always done it and hasn't gotten worse so I just chalk it up to "jeep thing".

"Shuddering" describes my problem as well. It's a very low sound with a vibration. You can feel it more on the drivers side. It is intermittent.

Mine has gotten worse, i'm heading to the dealer.

If I hear any weird noises come from my Jeep.... I just turn my radio louder. If I can't hear it, it doesn't exist. This technique worked very well on my last Jeep!

So far, I'm at about 24,000 miles with no problems on a 2008 purchased in December of 2007.

So far.

I started this post when I purchased my Rubi new. 7600 miles so far and no problems. My brother in law has 5500 miles on his auto and no problems, and he is pushing 34" tires.

I am actually impressed so far with how the tranny reacts to pedal input. Mine is very responsive to the pedal. The problem is the motor is only slightly more powerful than my lawn mower and likes the higher rpm's.

I've only experienced this issue a couple of times, so at this point I'm chalking it up as just minor occasional hiccups. However, once in a blue moon, when I've been driving around 30 - 40 mph and hit the throttle to pass (not floor it, just moderate pressure), the tranny has shifted to neutral causing the RPM's to shoot through the roof. In every ocurrence, I reactted quickly and just let off the throttle. It would take about a second and then the tranny would shift into a gear and I would continue on.

As you can no doubt imagine, this is pretty darned inconvenient when it happens, considering that I'm trying to quickly accelerate for whatever reason. Like I stated though, it's a rare occurrence, as I tend to be a fairly laid back driver. Honestly, I haven't tried to re-create it on purpose, so I'm not sure whether I would get anywhere by mentioning it to my dealer, but I'm still going to have them take a look the next time I'm there.

By the way, SB08JK....I'm moving to the Springs the first week of December. Hope to meet some of you local JK'ers.
