Mine sticks in 2nd at stop signs and won't let go of the TC up hills. More of a programming issue then a tranny issue.

Default just by the nature of the engineering

scoolbz

It will help some going back to stock size tire's

But just by the nature of the engineering these transmission run hot, Chrysler in their cost cutting mode, mated the trans cooler with the AC condenser, and when it was not sufficient, they are trying to keep it cool with torc convertor ( TC ) lock up thur programming, by eliminating ( TC ) stator slippage which is the causes of heat build up from TC.

People with any knowledge of heat dissipation will know that heat migrates upwards, compromising the AC condenser on heat dissipation, making the AC less efficient.

This heat problem can be eliminated buy installing a trans cooler, but Chrysler in their cost cutting mode could deny warranty work.

Hello BAKER GRADE on the way to VEGAS turn off the AC, NOT ME I dont like heat stroke, cant wait to see if Chrysler deny warranty work on driving habits

LOL

So far (6969 miles) no problem with the transmission. Door hinges are another matter.

48000 miles now on my 2007 4 door with a lot of daily trailer towing - nothing wrong with mine except the shift cable came disconnected. Fixed at Stealership for free.
