Looks like a good way to do it. Thanks. Does it bolt up there, or just hang off the plastic? I'm assuming you had to remove the plastic and attach it to the bolt(s) for the roof clamp.

 

The bracket provides all the support. The trim does have to be removed to install the bracket. Some folks think the price is a little high for the bracket. I don't. Someone else did the time consuming part of figuring out the dimensions and fabricated a ready to install system. Well worth the money to me to pay them, do my quick install and go ride!

 

Here's where I put mine. May not be the best location, but it's easy to reach and looks kinda cool.
